FAQ

How does the rep know if there's a credit hold?

Once the credit hold is applied, future projects will show a pop-up message to notify the rep that the client is currently on credit hold. The pop-up appears when the project is created and if the rep attempts to create POs. A pop-up also appears on the client's page.

Can reps still create presentations, estimates, and sales orders when an account has a credit hold?

Of course! Reps can still create pre-sale and sale forms for the client, including invoices, but they cannot create or regenerate POs.

Is there a report that tells which clients have a credit hold applied?

No report lists which clients have a credit hold applied. If you would like to track which clients have a hold, the best practice is to:

  1. Apply the Credit Hold
  2. Create a "Credit Hold" client tag

You can track client tags in the Clients tab and the Sales Rep Report.
