Accessing the Mailing List Report

To access the Mailing List Report:

  1. Click the Reports tab on the left hand navigation
  2. Select Mailing List

Include inactive reps

The Rep dropdown will default to all active reps in your commonsku account. If you would like to see commissions for reps who are no longer active:

  1. Click the Client Rep dropdown
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the list
  3. Select Inactive Users
  4. Select the inactive user you would like to pull client contact details for for
  5. Fill out any other necessary filters
  6. Click Get Report

How to pull a report

Once you have selected your report filters, click Get Report.

How to sort a report

Once you have pulled a report, click on a column title to sort that column by alphabetical or numerical order.

How to create a custom report

You can save specific Search filter selections and create your own custom Sales Rep reports. Your saved reports are only available under your login; they are not shared across your entire team.

To create a custom report:

  1. Select your preferred filters on the Search tab
  2. Click Actions > Save Report
  3. In the "Save Report" pop-up, enter a report name
  4. Click Save

To  delete a custom report:

  1. Click Actions > Load Report
  2. In the "Load Report" pop-up, select Report
  3. Click the  download-Aug-16-2023-02-59-11-1557-PM  icon next to the report you want to delete
  4. In the "Are you sure you want to delete" pop-up: Click OK

How to load a custom report

  1. Click Actions > Load Report
  2. In the "Load Report" pop-up, select Report
  3. Click Load

Totals

The Mailing List Report's totals box (along the top of the report) displays the total number of rows (contacts).

Managerial reports

Here are a few examples of the information you can get from your Mailing List Report:

Export your client/contact data

Use the Mailing List Report to export a list of all of your contacts.

To pull a report of your client/contact data:

  1. Use the filters to refine your search (optional)
  2. Click Get Report to view the report details in commonsku or click Export to export a CSV file with the contact information

YTD sales per contact

There are a variety of date filters you can use to pull sales numbers within a given timeframe, including:

  1. This Week
  2. This Month
  3. This Quarter
  4. This Year

To pull a YTD sales report per contact:

  1. Use the Client Rep, Client, Client Status, or Client Tag filters to refine your search (optional)
  2. Click the "Revenue By" filter and select Billing Contact or Shipping Contact
  3. Set the Date: This Year/ your desired date range
  4. Click Get Report

Feedback

The Mailing List Report helps track contacts your team recently completed a project for so you can reach out and ask for feedback.

To pull a feedback report:

  1. Click the "Revenue By" filter and select Billing Contact or Shipping Contact
  2. Set the Date: Last Week/ your desired date range
  3. Click Get Report
  4. Select to Export to CSV or your marketing integration

CSV export

After you've pulled a report, click Export to export a CSV file of the report details. CSV exports make it easy to organize large amounts of data.

The Mailing List Report's CSV export contains the:

  • Client
  • Client status
  • Contact first name and last name
  • Contact position
  • Contact default address
  • Contact phone number, extension, and fax number
  • Contact email
  • Marketing (yes or no)
  • Department
  • Industry
  • Client rep 
  • Revenue
  • Client Tags
  • Contact Tags
