What does this update do for me?

Prior to this update, distributors faced the time-consuming task of manually altering margins for each product in their project. The introduction of bulk margin updates enables them to apply margin changes to a selection of products concurrently, eliminating the need for manual adjustments.

Simply select the products in your Presentation or Sales Order, click the 'Update Margin' button, adjust the percentage, and voila - all your selected product margins will be updated.

 

Bulk Update Margins on Presentations

To perform a bulk update of the margin on a Presentation:

1. In the presentation tab, Choose one or more products, or Select All items as needed
2. Click set Margin at the bottom left corner
3. Enter the desired Margin value you wish to apply.
4. Select set Margin for (number) of item

 

Bulk Update Margins on a Sales Order

To perform a bulk update of the margin on a Sales Order:

1. Choose one or more products, or Select All items as needed
2. Click set Margin at the bottom left corner
3. Enter the desired Margin value you wish to apply.
4. Select set Margin for (number) of item

Will the decoration and other costs margin be updated along with the bulk margin selection?

Will I know if the margin was updated?

 

How will EQP take effect in this update? 
The EQP (End-Quantity Pricing) principle will be applied proportionally across all tiers. If needed  to meet EQP, margin will be rounded down. 

 

Will the decoration and other costs margin be updated along with the bulk margin selection?
No. The Bulk margin update is only added to the net cost of the main product.

 

Will I know if the margin was updated? 
Yes, the update will be updated and logged in the Project Overview for easy reference.
