How to Connect Promodata
To access Promodata in commonsku:
- Click your Profile icon (top right corner of commonsku) > Settings
- Under the Company Settings tab, click Integrations > Promodata
- Enter your Promodata Token
- Click Save Promodata Token
If you don't have a Promodata Token, you can contact hello@promodata.com.au to obtain an API key.
Search Promodata in commonsku
To search for a product from a client form (presentation, estimate, sales order, or invoice):
- Click + Add > Product
- Select the Promodata database
- Type a keyword or SKU number into the "Search term" field
- Select a supplier from the "Supplier" drop-down (optional)
- Click Search
- Select the product(s) you'd like to add to your form and choose from undecorated or decorated pricing and click Add; the product's background will turn blue once it's added to the form

Is the integration directly pulling from Promodata?
Promodata does not have a search function through an API. commonsku caches the product information and feeds it through a custom search engine to make sourcing possible. The cached information is updated regularly.
Why do some products have decorated pricing and some only display undecorated pricing?
Suppliers listed in Promodata do not have a standardized way of entering pricing. As pricing structures vary by supplier, commonsku needs to display decorated pricing differently for some products. If you do not see a decorated pricing option, the imprint costs and setup costs can be found when viewing the product page. They will need to be added manually as a run charge or fixed charge.
